The same source explained that the number of admissions to the isolation center doubled by covid-19, from seven to 14 patients.
Another seven people are also hospitalized in the symptomatic respiratory service.
According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health of São Tomé and Príncipe, of the 282 people infected with the new coronavirus, 253 are in isolation at home and another 41 are in quarantine in the Autonomous Region of Príncipe.
