Covid-19: Azores have no new cases registered in the last 24 hours

This is the 13th day in the region with no new cases of infection.

So far, a total of 146 cases of infection have been detected in the region, with 128 recovered, 16 deaths and two positive cases active for infection with the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes covid-19 disease, both on the island of São Miguel.

The Azorean Health Authority stresses that “measures to prevent and contain the pandemic must be maintained and reinforced, whenever possible, by citizens and public, private and social sector organizations”.

Today Portugal records 1,410 covid-19-related deaths, 14 more than on Saturday, and 32,500 infected, 297 more, according to the epidemiological bulletin released by the Directorate-General for Health.
