The Intermunicipal Community (CIM) Coimbra Region this Saturday, there was no new case of infection by coronavirus, according to data revealed in the Report on the Epidemiological Situation in Portugal of the Directorate-General for Health.
Good news for the 19 municipalities in the region, which in recent days have shown a trend of stagnation in new cases. As such, the region continues to have 1059 positive cases recorded since the beginning of the pandemic.
National data today showed an increase of 13 deaths compared to yesterday, now rising to 1,302, which represents an increase of 1%.
The number of infection cases rose, 89%, to 30,471, that is, 271 more cases than those recorded on Friday.
